Bonus with full armor sets?
Hey all, first post...
Is there a bonus when wearing a full set of a specific type of armor? I was slowly upgrading to Gladiator gear, and the last piece I needed was the cuirass. Fighting around Yak's Bend I was getting my butt handed to me, then I finally had enough Iron and Hides, so I went to town, and crafted it. I noticed then that it really wasn't much better than what I was wearing to begin with... it only afforded me an extra 5 AC (but the additional energy was what I really wanted). Back outside of Yak's Bend, I'm fighting, and finding my life a LOT easier for some reason. Before, solo, 3 dwarves would aggro to me, and it would be a tough fight, where I would probably (35% of the time) croak. Now I was able to handle, in one fight, 2 dwarves, and 2 Ettins... without really breaking a sweat! I saw no visible bonus anywhere, but is there some sort of invisible bonus when wearing a full set? Thanks! |

there is no bonus that i know of. however different parts of the body have a higher percent chance of getting hit. so if the last part you upgraded was where you were taking most of your damage then you might notice a big difference.
I think, not for sure, that the torso has approx. 30% of getting hit, legs-25%, and arms, feet, and head -15% each. So you would notice more of a difference from upgrading torso, or legs, than you would any other part. |

Oh cool! I didn't realize it calculated hits/damage in that way... so yeah, that makes a lot of sense then!
Thanks! |
